How it works

CaptureImage, sensor data and timestamp are signed inside the device's Secure Element.
AnchorThe hash is written into the Bitcoin blockchain within minutes via OP_RETURN.
VerifyAnyone can reproduce the chain signature → Merkle → Bitcoin — without our servers.

Binary, no probabilities

Content is verified or it isn't — no confidence scores, no “probably real”. “Unverified” does not mean “fake”, only “unproven”.

Privacy by design

No account, no tracking SDKs, no cloud sync. Krest servers never see your images and never your identity: the anchoring relay only hashes, the share relay only encrypted data. The Bitcoin anchor carries no personal data. Details in the Privacy Policy.

Open protocol

Protocol, wire format and verify algorithms are open source under the MIT license. Any third party can reproduce the full trust path — without asking us. Source on GitHub.
